Ken has a unique combination of leadership and managerial skills, deep audit and control understanding, along with a strong technical security understanding. Certifications obtained over the years have included the CPA, CISA, & CISSP. Ken is a driven executive with technical knowledge gained by years of hands-on operational experience, penetration testing, and continued learning that has enhanced the bigger picture connectivity of all of the parts.
Ken has been with the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York since 2003 in progressively increasing roles. He has been a VP & Director since 2012 in a variety of capacities. He has grown the Information Security Program from its infancy to the framework-aligned effective program that exists today. Prior to the Bank, Ken was a security consulting manager with one of the Big4 accounting firms where he carried out a number of unique and impactful engagements along with the standard reviews.
Ken has always participated in industry information sharing efforts and staff development activities. His passion is to brighten his corner of the world while assisting others to do the same to their full potential. Ken chairs the FS-ISAC Survey Review Committee after participating on it for years. He is on the Evanta Governing Body for the NY CISO’s.
