Why the US Government is Requiring Phishing-Resistant MFA and You Should Too

Phishing is one of the greatest cyber threats facing organizations today. Successful phishing attacks easily circumvent passwords and legacy multi-factor authentication (MFA)—making it extremely lucrative. So how do organizations address this continually evolving threat as part of implementing Zero Trust architecture?   While many forms of MFA are in existence, and they are better than passwords, not all MFA is created equal. All organizations—not only government agencies—need to understand the full impact of OMB M-22-09 and the mandate for phishing-resistant MFA.
