Session Abstract: GDPR is around for some now and addresses the concept of "certification" in Article 42. However, until very recently there have been no schemes addressing this and now EuroPrivacy has been approved by the EDDP (European Data Protection Board). We will a brief overview of the scheme, the requirements, and limitations as well as first experiences with the first few certification projects

Summary: The newly published EuroPrivacy scheme was approved by the EDDP (European Data Protection Board). and provides a mechanism for certification according to article 42 of GDPR we will share our experience with the first few projects.
