A counsel in the Litigation Department, Peter Carey is a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Protection and White Collar & Regulatory Defense groups. His practice focuses on advising clients on sensitive cyber and national security matters, as well as global risk and crisis management. Peter routinely advises clients on all aspects of breach preparedness and response, including counseling boards and executives on cybersecurity governance and risk management, and responding to cyber incidents ranging from ransomware to nation-state sponsored attacks. He regularly navigates delicate and high-profile matters involving multi-jurisdictional investigations, congressional oversight and significant media attention.
