Your AI Attack Surface is Bigger Than You Think. Some Legal Perspectives
About
Generative AI’s debut in November 2022 brought with it truly revolutionary changes in how business, science, and government are conducted. It also changed entirely the concept of a device or system’s “attack surface,” i.e., the number of all possible attack vectors where a threat actor can access and extract or compromise data. Not surprisingly, with a greatly expanded attack surface comes a greatly expanded legal exposure. In the presentation, a panel of cybersecurity and AI attorneys will examine just how existential this new dynamic is and what you, your team, and your counsel can do about it.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the “big picture” of the cybersecurity requirements of AI and non-AI laws and the corresponding legal exposure
Obtain an analysis of leading on-point publications and frameworks from MITRE, OWASP, and NIST
Review case studies of organizations that were and were not successful in meeting this new challenge
