Desiree “Dez” Beck is a principal cybersecurity engineer at MITRE. She contributes to the Structured Threat Information Expression (STIX) effort and leads the Malware Behavior Catalog (MBC) project, a malware-centric supplement to MITRE ATT&CK. She supports the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) through MITRE’s operation of the Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute (HSSEDI).
