Kelly Hood, CISSP, assists organizations in implementing cybersecurity and privacy best practices, controls, and standards to manage risks and meet compliance goals. As a member of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework team, Kelly supported the evolution and outreach of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework through version 1.1. Additionally, Kelly has supported the CMMI Institute in their development and expansion of the CMMI Cybermaturity Platform. The patented approach she helped develop for CMMI translates cybersecurity risk to cybermaturity goals and identifies mitigation strategies to help organizations improve their cybersecurity capabilities. Additionally, Kelly is a Registered Practitioner (RP) for the Certificated Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
