Banging on the Doors and Tapping at the Windows
About

The rise of infostealers is weakening the protection of multifactor authentication and organizations are struggling to identify the steps they can take to close the security gap. Regardless of if you’re using SMS or Application-based MFA, it can be bypassed. A problem made worse by the rise in unmanaged IT and personal preference for different browsers, plugins and mobile platforms.

This session will use a real-world compromise scenario to discuss the ways traditional protections are being eroded, some of the default configurations that organizations believe are secure, and highlight actionable approaches that can be taken to reduce the likelihood that user accounts can be compromised.

There's also the option for this to be a panel session if preferred.
