Abstract:  Traditional cybersecurity approaches struggle to keep pace with evolving threats. Organizations must move beyond static vulnerability management and embrace Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), a dynamic, data-centric security model. By integrating AI-driven risk prioritization, real-time data exposure assessment, and automated threat mitigation, CTEM enhances an organization’s ability to proactively manage risks. This paper explores the limitations of traditional vulnerability management and outlines how Data-Centric CTEM shifts the focus from infrastructure protection to securing users, data, and access behaviors—ultimately reducing an organization’s attack surface and improving resilience against cyber threats.
