With 20+ years of executive leadership and 18 years in open-source commercialization, he has scaled businesses and go-to-market strategies across dev-ops, cybersecurity, storage, big data, AI/ML, and analytics. Under his co-leadership, the GenAI Security Project became OWASP’s fastest-ever Flagship in just 20 months, growing to 20,000+ members, 140 sponsors, and publishing 15 peer-reviewed security guides. Honored as Runner-up for the 2025 OWASPProject Person of the Year, Scott holds degrees in Computer Systems Engineering and International Business from Silicon Valley.
