Dr. Justin Pearson is the Senior Director for Aerospace, Defense & Government (ADG) Architecture and Business Growth at Wind River. He leads strategy and technical engagement for secure, mission-critical cloud and edge solutions, with a focus on cyber-resilient architectures. Prior to joining Wind River, Dr. Pearson served as Director of Systems Architecture at Lynx and as Aerospace Systems and Digital Engineering Lead at MTSI, working directly with the Department of Defense for over a decade across software, cybersecurity, MOSA, and systems engineering initiatives. His contributions span the fielding of PEO Aviation’s first Open Systems Architecture to shaping ASA(ALT)’s MOSA “Gold Standard” guidance, establishing a benchmark for digital transformation and secure open architectures in defense.
Dr. Pearson has authored peer-reviewed articles and a doctoral dissertation on the intersection of cybersecurity and safety in Army Aviation, reflecting a long-standing commitment to bridging assurance and mission readiness. He holds a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Doctorate in Information Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Capella University. He also maintains CISSP, Security+, and CEH certifications, underscoring his professional dedication to advancing secure and trusted defense technologies.
