My recent LinkedIn posts on the cybersecuirty profession, degrees, certifcations, etc. have received 100,000s of views. The overwhelming majority of responses were supportive, while receiving criticism from those with a vested interest. This session will cover my observations on the profession and the criteria used to evaluate practitioners in the industry. It will address the real necessity of certifications, experience, degrees, etc., covering the arguements for and against them. This session will be controversial.
