Ty Whittenburg is the Manager of Cyber Threat Operations at Cardinal Health, where he oversees Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), Vulnerability Management, and Attack Surface Management for the Fortune 15 healthcare leader. A champion of "Probabilistic Defensive Engineering," Ty serves as the President of the Ohio River Valley Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and is a Board Member for the Central Ohio FAIR Chapter. As a certified Open FAIR Practitioner, he specializes in dismantling "adjective-based" risk reporting in favor of rigorous, data-driven quantification. Ty is a recognized voice in the push to integrate the FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK, and D3FEND frameworks to provide guidance for variance management & decision support controls, and drive enterprise security operations.
