About
Sean Barnes spent more than two decades inside technology organizations before making an unlikely pivot. Starting as an introverted IT practitioner, he eventually led IT, HR, ESG, Safety, Transportation, and Leadership Development simultaneously for a publicly traded oil and gas company, navigating 48 acquisitions and two IPOs along the way.
That journey from technical expert to cross-functional executive is the foundation of everything he teaches. Today Sean is President of Wolf Executives, where he coaches senior leaders and speaks at conferences across North America on personal branding, leadership presence, and executive influence.
His keynote on building a personal brand has been delivered for CyberRisk Alliance, Gartner, Energy Conference Network, and executive communities across the US and Canada, consistently earning recognition as a standout session. Leaders from organizations including JP Morgan, American Bureau of Shipping, MRC Global, and Dow have participated in his programs.
Sean is not a cybersecurity vendor and has no product to sell. He is a practitioner turned coach who understands the specific credibility challenges technical leaders face when they step into the room with a CFO or a board and realize that being the smartest person in the room is no longer enough.
