Aviv Nahum is the co-founder and CEO of Above Security, where he is building an AI-native approach to insider risk for a world of human and non-human identities. A veteran of Unit 81, an elite Israeli Military Intelligence technology unit, Aviv has spent his career at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and company building. He previously co-founded and served as CTO of Ctrl, which was acquired by Sana AI and later became part of Workday, and helped build core R&D teams at high-growth security companies. Aviv is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and was named to Forbes Israel’s 30 Under 30 list in 2026. His work focuses on how behavioral context and AI-driven investigation can reveal risk that traditional security controls miss.
