Professor Black focuses on the intersection of cybersecurity, technology, privacy, money, and the law. He helps businesses and governments protect themselves against cyber theft, espionage, and piracy. He teaches incident response, cyber forensics, and M&A cyber due diligence.
He has taught at eight law schools, two business schools, and the National University of Singapore. Professor Black has been cited in Forbes and his articles appear in leading national law journals.
He has an LL.M from the University of Washington, and a J.D. and a B.S. in Mathematics from BYU.
