Andy Welch is a Senior Director inside Yahoo's information security team, affectionately known as the Paranoids. The Paranoids are responsible for protecting Yahoo's more than one billion users worldwide — as well as the company's employees and systems. Andy leads an information security Governance, Risk, and Compliance group in his current role, guiding and ensuring the protection and compliance of Yahoo's critical data and systems. Over his 30-year career, he's separately led similar teams at IBM, Goldman Sachs, and KPMG.
