WORLD PASS: Legal and Cybersecurity Considerations for Chatbots and Agents
About

According to one analysis of the market for chatbots and generative AI, an “arms race” of investment has developed, including a $10 billion investment by one just one developer. A recent report by Gartner confirms this notion, citing an AI market value of $297 billion by 2027. Moreover, the immense potential of AI agents such as AutoGPT is now being demonstrated by those developers, offering the potential to automate thousands of tasks now being performed by humans. The rush to reengineer the global economy to incorporate AI into just about everything has opened the door to a litany of legal and cybersecurity challenges: misuse of personal information, harms to civil and human rights, and malware that cannot be stopped. In this panel discussion, AI attorneys, technologists, and cybersecurity professionals will review the many considerations for developing and using AI and what you can do to minimize the potential for harm.
