About
Cameron Powell, a graduate of Harvard Law School, is a three-time General Counsel, tech startup entrepreneur and mentor, board advisor, and trial lawyer. He specializes in evidence-based storytelling for organizations seeking to educate and persuade judges, juries, investors, and the media. With a background as a federal judicial clerk and an award-winning trial lawyer at the Department of Justice, as an intellectual property lawyer for Foley & Lardner, as an executive coach and talent consultant, and as an executive in a dozen early-stage tech startups, Mr. Powell now advises clients on AI law, tech development, and policy, specializing in the uses and abuses of AI. He is counsel at Gregor Wynne Arney and a partner at IonIdea technology consultants. As of this writing, Cameron is preparing a case of first impression against Google on grounds YouTube’s AI algorithms are not capable of holding the “reasonable beliefs” of violations YouTube must have to terminate creators’ accounts.
