David is the Founder & CEO of Malama Advisory, bringing more than 30 years of experience establishing, scaling, assessing, and advising on cybersecurity and privacy programs. At Malama Advisory, David leverages his extensive experience designing and executing robust security strategies tailored to client needs, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and guiding organizations of all sizes and industries through the complex landscape of regulatory compliance.  He has held corporate leadership positions at companies, such as Apple, TikTok, Kaiser Permanente, Hawaiian Airlines, and Constellation Energy, as well as serving on a number of advisory councils for ISACA, ASIS International, Corporate Executive Board, Vormetric, GuardianEdge, and Clearwell. David is a former adjunct faculty member for the Institute for Applied Network Security, current mentor for the Kennesaw State University’s (KSU) Cybersecurity Graduate and Undergraduate programs and frequent speaker at conferences.
