Bob founded West Strategy Group after more than 25 years in security leadership roles with financial and professional services organizations. Bob has a unique combination of leading enterprise cybersecurity teams, providing consulting services to technology companies and enterprise cybersecurity leaders and advised and has been a member of cybersecurity product companies. This allows him to provide multiple perspectives to his clients. Bob received the 2022 and 2024 HITEC 100 award, the 2004 Digital ID World Conference award for Balancing Innovation and Reality, a 2004 InfoWorld 100 Award for implementing SAML and was a nominee for the ISC2 Senior Information Security Professional of the Year, 2011. Bob graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in German and then received his Master of Science in Management Information Systems from North Central College.
