Adriana Winkler, JD, LL.M., is a recognized leader in Information Security and a Data Protection Officer (DPO) with extensive experience implementing and managing global risk, privacy, and data protection frameworks for multinational organizations. She currently leads risk and privacy regulatory initiatives at Accenture, where she supports clients in navigating complex regulatory environments, strengthening compliance programs, and aligning business strategies with evolving global standards. As part of her work, she has also engaged with leading AI innovators such as Anthropic, contributing to discussions on responsible AI and governance.
Previously, Adriana led privacy and data protection programs across Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia for a leading U.S.-based company valued at over $50 billion, supporting global brands including McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Subway, and Pizza Hut. She also chaired the Privacy and Data Protection Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (Brasília Chapter) for six years, leading initiatives with over 100 attorneys and serving as a key authority on privacy matters.
Adriana is also an educator, author, and international speaker, advising public and private organizations on global privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, including LGPD, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, DORA, and others. Her expertise spans Privacy by Design, AI governance, third-party risk management, DSARs, audits, and enterprise training.
She holds multiple certifications from IAPP, EXIN, and ISACA, and is certified as a DPO by Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
